Lately we have been talking with the manager of the Hilton right near the Oviatt on Grand Ave Which is the street before Olive when you are coming from the freeway. It is a 5 minute walk from the Oviatt.
We have a block of 10 rooms reserved for the 7th-9th I believe for those of you who would like to stay at the Hilton the night before or the night after or both. The manager has generously given us a great deal. The rooms normally run about $300-$400 a night. We are getting them for $129 a night.
We visited the hotel. The rooms are very nice plus you wont have to worry about parking.
We only have until September 10th to fill up the block!!! We need at least 8 rooms reserved to receive the discounted prices and a discount on our wedding suite! ;) Also I think there is a limited number of rooms reserved for the block...which is 10 I believe.

We have seen the Hotel and it is lovely. We are really looking forward to staying there. Many movies have been filmed there. A recent one was some stunt man falling from the top floor into a bag below. The web site has some pictures of the hotel, nice! I can't believe the great price they are giving the wedding guest. I hope guest take advantage of enjoying the Hotel stay.
So far we have 4 rooms booked I believe. I know of 3 others who said they were planning to get a room as well. That will be 7 if those pan out.
Am I too late to bok a room for the group rate? Mom ;)

Hahahahhaa well actually if you havent booked. There is only 2 days left. The 14th is the actual last day. The need has been filled but if you want to have a great rate on a fancy room I would suggest immediate action.
